Who needs IHOP?

For dinner tonight, I made the best pancakes EVER. Cooked, of course, on our iron skillet. I'm such a good southern wife, my Gramma would be proud. We're not the "traditional" dinner people....no meat, potatoes, dessert for us. And we definitely don't eat at the table (which we should, our table is beautiful)... we chill on the couch. I suppose that's not the best habit to get into and I'm sure will change when we have a baby...but for now, I enjoy it. It's cozy...

This week has flown by...it's almost Friday! I'm sure the weekend will fly by as well. Charity had surgery last weekend and it's been forever since we've been to Canton, so we're going over to the Eastside to see everyone. I'm excited...I really miss that area. There's just something about driving down the street and having so many memories about them. The familiarity is comforting. It'll be awesome to see my family too...I miss my grandparents!

I love Mike's working schedule now...most of the week he's home by 5:30 and now he has weekends off! We haven't had weekends together ever....since before we've been married he's worked Saturdays. I'm excited to sleep in together and lounge around...
