It stayed light tonight until just after 9:30pm...I love that part of summer! Mike and I went to Wahlfield Park and walked around the path. It was so beautiful! There were purple flowers blooming all over the place and between those and the Honeysuckle, it smelled amazing. The long path goes by a little creek and I'm pretty sure that the little bridge that goes over it might be my new favorite place in West Michigan.

Two weeks from now we'll be camping!! I cannot wait. A whole week of not having to do anything if we don't want. I'm hoping that it'll stay in the 80s for the days and then get into the 50s-60s at night because there is nothing better than an almost cold night while camping. It makes campfires and sleeping SO much more enjoyable. I also like getting up and having to throw on a hoodie in the morning because it's still a little chilly. Growing up, I never thought I would look forward to week of doing nothing on vacation! However right now, it sounds amazing.

I will admit that I have been overly "girly" lately and super emotional, but I have really realized lately now blessed I am to be living the life that I am. I really do love my life. I have been married almost 2 years to a man that really truly is my best friend and whom I love with a love so deep that it's almost a little scary. I have a steady job that lets me love on little tiny human beings. We have found a church that we love and that challenges us to grow and to view things differently. I am seeing God do amazing things in my life and the lives of my family. With all this said...I cannot believe this is the life that I get to live! Granted, it is not all roses and rainbows, but in the grand scheme of things...it's pretty incredible. I'm once lucky girl.

Mikey's sermon is up...this link will take you right to the sermon itself. I might be a little biased, but I think it's good and that you should listen to it. He's been asked to speak again in July and then again twice in August. :-)

Alright...I'm shutting down and relaxing for the last few minutes of my weekend. Happy June!
