First off, I would like to acknowledge how adorable the "Band-Aid" commercial is. Those two little kids singing are so cute! I love when it comes on...and then I'm left singing the jingle to myself.

My laptop is currently in two pieces...connected only by 1 little wire. I'm writing this with the screen propped up on the remote control holder on the coffee table, otherwise the screen falls off. Luckily, my dad gave us his old laptop that just needs a new hard drive...so once we have that, I'll have a computer that I don't have to prop up to use.

This past weekend was exhausting, but fun. Kristen's wedding was Friday night so most of the family was in town, which was fun. Since my aunts don't all live in Michigan, it's always so great when everyone is home. :-) My Gramma was so cute...she kept counting her daughters and saying "All of my girls are right here with me!". The wedding was beautiful, and I didn't trip going down the aisle or flash the audience while I fixed her train during the ceremony (I was worried about both). However, most of the pictures taken during the reception are just head shots with different people and because the dress was strap-less, I look naked in most of the pictures. The reception was a blast...my family is wild. They never cease to be the life of the party and to make everyone laugh.

I also like how loud we are when we're in one house together...I just like to sit back and watch sometimes. Taking it all in and cherishing the moment. Someone is always laughing....we're a very joyful bunch. My family really does mean the world to me...especially all my cousins. God has really blessed me with the family He's given me. I've realized that more and more this past year...and I'm so grateful for the time we've been given to spend together. I feel like everyone's eyes have been opened to how precious time is. While heartbreaking, Charity's sickness has brought everyone closer to each other and to God...He truly is a Great Pursuer. I've never been more scared and sad in my life, however...I have never seen God work in such amazing ways either. It's so comforting to know that God is bigger than this...that even in the midst of tears and brokenness, He can start a healing process for current and past hurts and has further bonded us together as a family. I truly am thankful.
